Parody + Corruption

The slow-change story: a character you know from somewhere else starts one way and, through the choices you make, ends up another. It is one of the most common structures in fan games because it gives a known character somewhere to go. In practice it means trainer-style sandboxes and long visual novels with stats behind the scenes. These are mostly ongoing, mostly Ren'Py, and mostly long; the version count in the facts box is a rough guide to how far along they are.
