What counts as a parody game?

A game that borrows its setting or characters from something that already exists: a cartoon, a comic, a game series, a book, a show. Lewdzone files these under a parody tag, and every one of the 1,750 games on this site carries it. Which world a game riffs on is up to the game to say; we only repeat what its own title and description tell us.

Where do I actually play or download?

Not here. Every panel has a bubble. Play it! opens the game on Xgame9, which runs a browser build of it; that bubble only appears when a verified Xgame9 page exists for that exact game. Grab it! goes to the game's page on Lewdzone, where the downloads and the full description are. We never link to file hosts, mirrors or search pages.

Why is only a fraction playable in the browser?

Browser builds mostly exist for Ren'Py and HTML games, and only where somebody has ported them. Right now 245 of the 1,750 games here have one. The Play it now tab keeps them in one strip.

What does "finished" mean?

That the developer has marked the game as complete. "Ongoing" means builds are still coming, "demo" means a preview build, "on hold" means paused, "abandoned" means no build for a long time and no word from the developer. We take the status from the catalogue and show it as it is.

How often does the issue change?

Weekly. The catalogue is rebuilt from a fresh snapshot, the cover story rotates, the New this week strip refills, and the Fresh builds feed picks up anything with a new version. Nobody edits it by hand between issues.

Why do some tags have no page?

Tags that describe the setting, the format or the cast (fantasy, visual novel, monster girl, female protagonist) get list pages and hubs. Tags that name what happens in the scenes are shown on a game's own panel, once you are past the age gate, and nowhere else. That is deliberate.

Is there a feed?

Yes: the RSS feed lists every game that got a new build in the last month, newest first.
