Parody + Adventure

Games that send you somewhere. Adventure here means exploration and progress through a world rather than a menu of scenes: point-and-click puzzles, RPG Maker maps, side-scrolling stages, quests with steps. The parody angle gives you a world you can already navigate in your head, which the good ones use for jokes and the lazy ones use for shortcuts. Expect longer play times and a higher share of finished games than the sandbox hub.
